Frequently Asked Questions
What is the dress code?
Each event has its own style:
Day 1 – Haldi Night: Shades of yellow and pastels. Light, festive, and summery.
Day 2 – Wedding Ceremony & Reception: Elegant floral or festive evening attire. Please leave white for the bride.
Day 3 – Italian Picnic Evening: Relaxed Tuscan summer style — light linens, florals, and comfortable outfits for an evening by the pool.
We want you to feel as comfortable as possible, so please dress in a way that feels good for you.
The weather may be warm, so light, breathable fabrics are your best friend.
And don’t forget your sunglasses and swimsuits for poolside moments throughout the celebration! What time should I arrive?
We recommend arriving in Tuscany on June 1 before 15:00, as check-in begins at that time and the welcome Haldi event starts at 17:00.
How do I get to the venue?
Guests from Munich can drive or fly to Florence (FLR).
Guests from outside Munich/Europe should fly into Florence Airport. We will arrange transfers from Florence to the castle upon request.
If you prefer to rent a car, the drive through Tuscany is scenic and straightforward. Will transportation be provided?
Yes — airport transfers from Florence Airport (FLR) to the villa can be arranged upon request. Please contact us in advance so we can coordinate timings. For guests arriving by car, parking is available at the castle.
Where should I stay?
All of our guests will stay on-site at the castle, where all events will take place. We have blocked all rooms at the castle, and we will allocate them to you individually. You will be contacted individually. If you prefer alternative accommodation, there are boutique hotels, agriturismos, and villas nearby — we’d be happy to recommend options.
What’s the weather like in Tuscany in early June?
Expect warm, sunny days (25–30°C) and pleasant evenings.
Nights by the pool can feel slightly cooler, so we recommend bringing a light jacket or shawl for comfort. Is there a gift registry?
Your presence is the greatest gift. We truly mean it — we are not requesting physical gifts.
If you feel compelled to contribute, we will happily accept cash. What should I do between events?
You’ll have time to relax and enjoy the villa’s pool, gardens, and surroundings. The location also has its own wine shop and vineyard, if you do by any chance find some time in between.
Will food preferences or allergies be accommodated?
Absolutely — please let us know about any dietary restrictions (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, allergies) in the contact form in the “Wedding Program” Link.
Our caterers can accommodate a wide range of needs across all events. Can I take photos during the ceremony?
We prefer the ceremony to be phone-free, so everyone can be fully present and so that the professional photos feature your beautiful faces and no mobile phones.
Our photographers will capture everything beautifully. Phones are welcome again during aperitivo and dinner. What should I pack?
Light, summery outfits
Swimwear (poolside events!)
Comfortable shoes for cobblestones and gardens
Sunscreen & sunglasses
A light jacket for evenings
Outfits matching the dress codes for each event
Are there any cultural elements I should know about?
Yes — our Haldi Night is inspired by an Indian pre-wedding tradition where turmeric (Haldi) symbolizes joy, warmth, and blessings. Our version is fun, welcoming, and very guest-friendly — expect vibrant colors, music, and lots of smiles. No special preparation needed!
